The Orchard Barn and the Garden Wing have been designed as good quality holiday accommodation. The facilities are suitable for all ages and many different group sizes, such as couples, extended families, friends.

We have avoided creating a clinical atmosphere whilst at the same time arranging the facilities so that disabled persons can have a comfortable holiday.

The accommodation is spacious and uncluttered, yet well equipped.

• Both cottages have large, attractive, wheelchair friendly gardens which are landscaped with accessible level patio and lawns.
• The Orchard Barn has a gentle ramp or 3 steps from the car parking, whilst the Garden Wing has a level entrance with no steps.
• There are no steps on the ground floor of either cottage.
• Both cottages are fitted with an alarm call system to the downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms.
• The smoke alarms have flashing lights in the downstairs bedrooms.
• Kitchens have slightly lowered worktop.
• Downstairs wet-rooms are fitted with grab rails and have level entry showers.
• Sitting rooms have at least 2 types of easy chairs, including 1 firm higher chair.

If you require other equipment not listed, please contact us and we will help to arrange hire, eg. extra wheelchair, hoist.

Visually impaired: The accommodation has no specific facilities for visually impaired or blind people. However, please contact us to discuss your requirements, as we may be able to help. We are quite happy for visitors to bring dogs with them - we welcome dogs.

Hearing impaired: Please contact us about any particular requirements. You will see that we have some items of equipment available and we are happy to help in any way possible.
