Garden Wing - Description 

Sleeps 4 (1 double; 1 twin) with space for 2 cots

The Garden Wing is part of the traditional farmhouse and you enter by the front door, through the Elizabethan porch. There is an unusually spacious living room with comfortable chairs and dining table which can seat 10.

The large attractive twin-bedded room overlooks the lawned garden with beds full of shrubs and herbaceous perennials. There is a shower room with WC, basin and level entry shower.

Up the old uneven stairs to a king-size four poster bed in a south facing bedroom, with an en-suite bathroom - WC, basin and bath. There is plenty of space in these two bedrooms for a cot or an extra bed.

Book Orchard Barn and the Garden Wing together for a large family party or group of friends. The living room in the Garden Wing is large enough for all of you to enjoy each other's company.

Garden Wing - farmhouse garden

The area immediately in front of the house has been a garden for several generations and shrubs such as the Bay Leaf tree, a fuschia, and a rose have been growing here for over 100 years. There is a traditional vegetable garden, from which you may share in the crops in season.

The large lawn surrounded by flower beds, mainly planted with more rhododendrons, was made in 2002. A wooden table with seats is here for your al fresco meals. This area may be used for sun bathing, barbecues, ball games etc.

There is a small pond in the far corner and parents are asked to warn their children.
