Orchard Barn is newly converted barn, retaining several original features set in the old orchard. A gently ramped access from the parking area leads to the French doors and the patio from where you can enjoy the afternoon and evning sunshine. The lounge has a dramatic vaulted ceiling with the original pulley wheel in situ which were used to drive the milling machine. There is a log burner for cosy winter evenings. An oak staircase leads up to the gallery which provides further relaxation space. The twin bedroom downstairs has a luxurious level en-suite shower room. Upstairs, the 4 poster bedroom, with spectacular views has a shower en-suite while the twin bedroom is fitted with a bath en-suite for your convenience. An extra bed can be situated on the gallery. Orchard Barn has underfloor heating, using environmentally friendly geo-thermal heating obtained from pipes run underground in the adjoining field. This heating is designed to maintain a constant temperature 24 hours of the day, 365 days a year. |
